Note: The inclusion of the following links is provided to assist in your study of the Scriptures and living out of the Christian life in the fullness of the Holy Spirit and in the fullness of life that is in the Lord Jesus Christ. We have included a wide variety of links to websites that will encourage the Christian community in the Scriptures and with reference to the doctrines of the historic Christian faith (from sources both past and present). Our prayer and desire is that these will be of great spiritual benefit and blessing to you. Biblical discernment is always appropriate for a page such as this; and at Alive In Christ Ministries, we encourage you to be like the Bereans of Acts 17:11 who "....received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so...." In a listing of this size, there would be some areas with which we would have differences in opinion, doctrine and theology......and with which we, therefore, would exercise the caution of Biblical discernment ourselves....and encourage the user to do the same. At Alive In Christ Ministries, we believe in having as solid a foundation in biblical theology and doctrine as is possible. However, we also believe that such biblical doctrine must be wrapped up in the love of Jesus Christ...and thus it is likewise important (if not more so) that we remember how that Jesus said "....they will know that you are My disciples by the love that you have for one another," (John 13:35). Therefore, as you peruse the various links on this page, we would trust that you would remember these things, in Jesus' name. NOTE: The Alive In Christ Ministries Links Page is periodically updated. While the maintainer of this site is an evangelical with a fairly traditional view of scripture, some slightly off-beat items are included here from varying points of view. So as always, biblical discernment is in order.... However, there is much good and helpful material to be found here....and is as extensive a "links" site as I have found. As of 6/22/2000--This site includes 1,500 links to Bible study resources).
www.bible.org - BIBLE STUDIES FOUNDATION (This is a very large and helpful library of Bible Research and study tools/materials. Bible Studies Foundation has collected a wealth of material from various evangelical perspectives. Be sure to stop in at their "External Links" section. It is one of the best links sections I have ever seen. There are excerpts stored here from both the Westminster Theological Journal and the Bibliotheca Sacra [Dallas Theological Seminary] Full archives are now available only on CD-Rom through the Bible Studies Foundation. This website is well-done, well-written, well- maintained, and has lots of articles useful for both research and sermon/teaching/Bible-study preparation...and will be a blessing to anyone who stops in).

This website is well-cone and well-maintained...and has numberous pages and links to other sites. For example, it has the complete Ray C Stedman Memorial Library, some of which is on RealAudio. It also has the sermon libraries of some of the past pastors [such as Dave Roper, Ron Ritchie, and Bob Smith. It contains all of the PBC Leadership Position Papers, as well as the catalog to Discovery Publishing books and tapes; See also "The Paraclete Forum" linked from the PBC home page... the Paraclete Forum has an excellent links page full of useful information. There is much more to this website than I have shared about here. Peninsula Bible Church [along with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa] is my all-time favorite church and place to be. PBC was doing in the San Francisco Bay area what Calvary Chapel was doing in Costa Mesa during the early days of the Jesus Movement. BIBLE PROPHECY

Note: As indicated above, one should be a true Berean (Acts 17:11) when dealing with the subject of eschatology. We recognize that there is a problem among some dispensational prophecy speakers to interpret Bible prophecy according to the newspaper instead of allowing the Bible to speak for itself with regard to the future. While Alive In Christ Ministries is dispensational, pre-millenial,and pre-tribulational in its eschatology, and while we recognize the biblical distinction between the church and Israel, we caution against the pervasiveness of sensationalism among some prophecy teachers who interpret certain prophetic scriptures in ways that are not in keeping with even the basic grammatical-historical (and literal) hermeneutic. Because of the preceding, we are in the process of revising this section of the links page, which will include a rating-system of sorts with cautions regarding sensationalism where we feel they are needed. So I was thrilled when I found this site which has a copy of "Steve Camp's 107 Theses - A Call For Reformation In The Contempoary Christian Music Industry". This document is perhaps one of the finest documents that I have read (along with the writings of John MacArthur and Michael Horton on Worship) on the need for true worship of God in song-worship. Steve Camp has done an incredible job of bringing the supremecy of God-centered and Christ-centered worship to the awareness of the Christian community. Steve Camp is a pastor, singer and songwriter. He not only knows the Scriptures but he knows the God of the Scriptures and does a profound job of communicating Him in his music. While much of contemporary Christian music is almost devoid of substantive, accurate doctrine, Steve Camp's lyrics are rich with solid, biblical theology. . By the way, I highly recommend his CDs entitled "MERCY IN THE WILDERNESS" and "ABANDONED TO GOD" You will be blessed in personal worship through the listening of this fine Christian worship music
